Rescheduling or cancelling an appointment

Plans change. You can reschedule or cancel any appointment HAB booked, and the change syncs to your calendar.

Reschedule an appointment

  1. Open the Calendar section (or find the linked appointment from the Leads or Conversations view).
  2. Click the appointment to open it.
  3. Choose Reschedule and pick a new date and time from your open slots.
  4. Save. The event updates on your connected calendar.

Cancel an appointment

  1. Open the appointment.
  2. Click Cancel.
  3. Confirm. The time is released and becomes available for new bookings again.

Keeping the customer informed

If customer notifications are enabled, HAB can send an updated confirmation when you reschedule, or a cancellation notice when you cancel. Manage these messages in your Calendar or Settings notification options.

Tip: If a customer calls or chats back to change their own appointment, HAB can handle the reschedule in the conversation — no action needed from you.

Note: Changes made directly on your Google or Outlook calendar generally sync back to HAB, but it's best to manage HAB-booked appointments from within HAB so the linked lead and customer notifications stay accurate.
