Rescheduling or cancelling an appointment
Plans change. You can reschedule or cancel any appointment HAB booked, and the change syncs to your calendar.
Reschedule an appointment
- Open the Calendar section (or find the linked appointment from the Leads or Conversations view).
- Click the appointment to open it.
- Choose Reschedule and pick a new date and time from your open slots.
- Save. The event updates on your connected calendar.
Cancel an appointment
- Open the appointment.
- Click Cancel.
- Confirm. The time is released and becomes available for new bookings again.
Keeping the customer informed
If customer notifications are enabled, HAB can send an updated confirmation when you reschedule, or a cancellation notice when you cancel. Manage these messages in your Calendar or Settings notification options.
Tip: If a customer calls or chats back to change their own appointment, HAB can handle the reschedule in the conversation — no action needed from you.
Note: Changes made directly on your Google or Outlook calendar generally sync back to HAB, but it's best to manage HAB-booked appointments from within HAB so the linked lead and customer notifications stay accurate.
