How appointments get booked automatically
Automatic booking is the heart of HAB — "Conversation to Calendar." Here's exactly what happens when a customer is ready to schedule.
The booking flow
- Qualify — HAB confirms the customer needs a service you offer and is in your service area.
- Check availability — HAB reads your connected calendar and availability rules to find open slots.
- Offer slots — HAB proposes real options ("I have tomorrow at 10 AM or Thursday at 2 PM — which works?").
- Confirm details — HAB collects or confirms name, phone, and address.
- Book — HAB writes the appointment to your calendar and reserves the time so it can't be double-booked.
- Sync — The appointment links to the lead, and both push to your CRM if connected.
What the customer gets
The customer hears or reads a clear confirmation, including the date, time, and what to expect. If confirmations or reminders are enabled, they receive those too.
What you get
A new event appears on your connected calendar with the customer's details and the service requested — no manual entry needed.
Note: HAB only offers slots that fit your availability rules and aren't already busy on your calendar. Keep your availability current so the options it offers are ones you can actually keep.
Tip: Watch your first few automated bookings under Calendar and Conversations together. Seeing the full path — from what the customer said to the event on your schedule — builds confidence fast.
