Connecting your calendar (Google / Outlook)

Connecting your calendar is what lets HAB book real appointments. Once linked, HAB reads your availability and writes new bookings directly to your schedule.

Connect Google Calendar

  1. Open the Calendar section from the left sidebar.
  2. Click Connect next to Google Calendar.
  3. Sign in to your Google account and authorize access when prompted.
  4. Choose the specific calendar HAB should book into (for example, "Service Appointments").
  5. Save. You'll see a "Connected" status when it's done.

Connect Outlook

  1. In the Calendar section, click Connect next to Outlook / Microsoft 365.
  2. Sign in to your Microsoft account and authorize access.
  3. Pick the calendar HAB should use for bookings.
  4. Save.

Confirm it's working

After connecting, run a quick test booking from Bot → Test. The new appointment should appear on the calendar you selected within a few seconds.

Note: Button and screen names may differ slightly between Google and Microsoft and can change over time. If the wording on your screen doesn't match, look for the equivalent "Connect" and "Authorize" steps.

Tip: Use a dedicated calendar for HAB bookings (rather than your personal one). It keeps work appointments tidy and makes availability rules easier to manage.
