Adding your services, pricing, and service area

Giving HAB clear service, pricing, and coverage details is the single biggest thing you can do to improve booking quality.

Add your services

  1. Open the Knowledge Base section.
  2. Select Services and click Add Service.
  3. Enter the service name (for example, "AC repair") and a short, plain-language description.
  4. Repeat for every service you offer. Be specific — list "drain cleaning" and "water heater installation" separately rather than just "plumbing."

Add pricing

  1. In the Services or Pricing area, add a price or range to each service.
  2. Use whatever your customers actually hear — a flat service call fee, a typical range ("most repairs run $150 to $400"), or "free estimate."
  3. Save your changes.

Note: You control how much pricing HAB shares. If you'd rather quote on site, set the service to "free estimate" or "priced after inspection" and HAB will say that instead of giving a number.

Set your service area

  1. Open Service Area.
  2. Add the cities or ZIP codes you cover. You can usually paste a list.
  3. Optionally set how HAB should respond to customers just outside your area (decline politely, or take a message).
  4. Save.

When a caller's address falls outside your area, HAB won't waste a slot — it lets them know you don't cover that location.

Tip: Keep this current. If you expand into a new town or drop a service, update the Knowledge Base the same day so HAB never books work you can't do.
