Tracking lead conversion trends

Below the KPI cards, the Lead Conversion Trends graph shows how activity changes over time. It's the best way to spot patterns — busy mornings, slow weekends, or a spike after you updated your website.

The Lead Conversion Trends graph — Leads and Conversions lines over time, with Today, Yesterday, Week, Month, and All filters.

What the graph shows

Two lines track activity across the period you select:

LineWhat it tracks
LeadsNew leads captured during each time bucket (hour, day, or week depending on the filter).
ConversionsAppointments booked during the same period.

When the Leads line runs above Conversions, customers are reaching out but not all are booking yet. When both lines rise together, HAB is capturing and closing effectively.

You'll also see an average leads per hour figure (for example, "Avg. 2 leads/hour") — a quick benchmark for how steady your inbound flow is.

Time filters

Use the buttons above the graph to change the view:

FilterBest for
TodayReal-time pulse check — is today busier or quieter than usual?
YesterdayReviewing a full day after close — useful for daily standups.
WeekSpotting weekday vs. weekend patterns.
MonthTracking growth over a longer stretch.
AllLifetime view since you went live.

What to look for

  • Leads spike, conversions flat — Something drove traffic (an ad, a referral, a busy season) but bookings didn't keep up. Check calendar availability and whether HAB had open slots to offer.
  • Conversions spike without more leads — HAB closed a higher share of existing conversations. Often happens after a Knowledge Base update or calendar fix.
  • Quiet hours — If you see zero activity at certain times, that's normal overnight. But a dead zone during business hours may mean your phone forwarding or chat widget isn't live.
  • Steady climb on Month or All — Your setup is working. Keep doing what you're doing and review conversations occasionally for fine-tuning.

Turn trends into action

  1. Pick Week or Month and note your busiest day or hour.
  2. Make sure your Calendar has availability during those peak times — that's when customers are most ready to book.
  3. Open Conversations from that same period and read a few transcripts where leads didn't convert.
  4. Add any missing answers to your Knowledge Base or FAQs.
  5. Recheck the graph the following week to see if conversions caught up.

Tip: Screenshot your Month view at the end of each month. Over time you'll build a simple record of growth without needing a separate spreadsheet.

Note: The graph reflects activity in your account's timezone. If your team spans multiple regions, keep that in mind when comparing peak hours.
